Description
This is the story of Valliard Rosenhill ten years after The Two Kings Revolution. Basically, after becoming Hellsing the Man-Slayer and finishing the war, Valliard wandered the lands of Faerun (Forgotten Realms) and became a pacifist. His sword is now a reverse-blade sword, and he's decided to never use the De'Alselah style that has been taught to him by his Master, Althirion De'Alselah. The woman next to Valliard is an Elf from the city of NeverWinter, named: Raina Haldaraina. She took Valliard in, full well knowing that he was once Hellsing the Man-Slayer, but she believes that Valliard is no longer a Man-Slayer.
Valliard feels the need to repent for his sins during the revolution ten years ago. By doing so, Valliard goes out of his way to be a good man without the need of violence. However, he may act the fool, but he is aware that some people only respond to violence; thus him having a weapon though kill-less it may be. Valliard is 28 years old but will be lucky enough to live past 40, seeing how his fighting style takes it's toll on the body. Valliard has vowed to never kill again, despite the number of people who wish him dead. Believing in everlasting peace, Valliard gets haunted and challenged from the ghost of his past; the other remaining Man-Slayers.
Raina Haldaraina is an Elf who's about 76, although looks like she's 21 (An Elf can live up to 2000 years or so and still retain youth in Faerun.) Raina is a bit naive, but she's a caring person and will do whatever she can to help who she believes deserves help. Her thoughts on that are a bit biased and childish, Raina constantly fights Valliard on morals of whom and whom not to save. Nevertheless, in the end she always goes with Valliard's morals. Raina has a bit of a crush on Valliard, though she won't admit it, despite how obvious it is.
